Gene as

From the early 1500s, comes Gene as Genevieve la Flamenge, a noblewoman of the French Renaissance. French costume at this time was alive with brilliant colors and extravagance. Both men and women adorned themselves with cosmetics and jewelry. It was a time of excitement and enlightenment, and Genevieve was a part of it all.

This One of a Kind Gene was created by Nancy Provoncha (A.K.A. nancyp@webdollz.com, nancyp@ham.net). She has custom eye makeup and nail polish, and straightened hair. A former Iced Coffee Gene, she now comes with the dress, hat, purse, shoes, and jewelry pictured here. Her dress is two pieces that snap in back. The blouse has a slim-fitting lined bodice in gold/tan lycra brocade with sleeves puffs of gold netting over purple glissenette, fitted at the bottom in purple stretch velvet. The skirt is purple velvet over a gold underskirt with two layers of white/gold net petticoats (all attached to skirt). The dress is adorned with pearls, plum beads and a gold brocade trim. She wears a cap of gold netting over purple velvet trimmed in pearls with purple glissenette veil. She carries a matching beaded bag. She wears slippers of purple velvet on gold heels. Her jewelry consists of necklace and earrings of no-hole seed pearls and amethyst Swarovski crystals. The necklace has a drop pearl pendant on chain. All metal is gold filled. She comes with her original doll stand, certificates, white box, and shipping box. Buyer to include $7.00 to ship in USA. I accept money orders (shipped ASAP) or checks (held until cleared). SOLD.
